How to Download and Install RHEL 9 for Free in VMware Workstation:

Part-1: Downloading the ISO file:
Step-1: open Red Hat official website by clicking on this link:
https://developers.redhat.com/products/rhel/download
Step-2: Scroll down the webpage, now you will see RHEL Server ISO Block, the latest is RHEL version 9.2, for other versions click on other RHEL versions, here you can download the version you like, now click on x86_64 DVD ISO file. we had Successfully downloaded the ISO file.

Part-2: Downloading the VMware Workstation:
Step-1: open VMware official website by clicking on this link:
https://www.vmware.com/sg/products/workstation-player/workstation-player-evaluation.html
Step-2: Scroll down the webpage, now you will see ‘Try Workstation 17 Player for Windows’, under it click on Download Now and thats it we had Successfully downloaded the VMware Workstation.
Step-3: Now, Install the VMware Workstation.

Part-3: Installing the RHEL Linux in VMware:
Step-1: Launch VMware Workstation.
Step-2: Now, Click on ‘Create a New Virtual Machine’.
Step-3: It will give Pop up Block, in that under Installer disc Image file(iso), browse and select the RHEL ISO file which we had downloaded and click on Next.
Step-4: Now Enter the details such as Full name of user and user name and password and click on Next.
Note: Remember the password you have given while creating the user is same for root also
Step-5: Now give a name for this Virtual Machine, so that we can easily identify and launch our RHEL OS in this Virtual Machine. Now click on Next.
Step-6: Now Specify disk capacity as ’20 GB’, you can give as much as you want, but recommended is ’20 GB’ and leave other options as default and Click on Next.
Step-7: Here you will see all the details of the virtual Machine, you can also customize the hardware by click on customize Hardware button. if everything looks fine then click on Finish.
Step-8: The installation process of RHEL 7.9 in VMWare starts.
Step-9: After Successful installation, you will get login screen, Now login with root and with the password that have you created.
Step-10: we have successfully Installed and logged in RHEL OS in Virtual Machine.
Step-11: If you want to launch RHEL OS in Virtual Machine after Installation, then click on Virtual Machine name that you have created and then click on play virtual Machine.
