Installing RHEL using Pendrive

How to Download and Install RHEL 9 for Free using Pendrive:

lets learn downloading and Installation of RHEL in 3 parts
Part-1: Downloading the ISO file
Part-2: Making bootable Pendrive for Installation
Part-3: Installing the RHEL Linux

Part-1: Downloading the ISO file:

Step-1: open Red Hat official website by clicking on this link:
https://developers.redhat.com/products/rhel/download

Step-2: Scroll down the webpage, now you will see RHEL Server ISO Block, the latest is RHEL version 9.2, for other versions click on other RHEL versions, here you can download the version you like, now click on x86_64 DVD ISO file. we had Successfully downloaded the ISO file.

Part-2: Making bootable Pendrive for Installation:

Step-3: Now, connect Pendrive to Laptop nd format the Pendrive and download and install Rufus software for making Bootable Pendrive.
Rufus Software link: https://rufus.ie/en/ and scroll down click on this file (rufus-4.1.exe Standard Windows x64)

Step-4: After Installing the software, now open Rufus Software and select
Device -> Represents your Pendrive.
Boot Selection -> Represents the ISO file you downloaded.

Step-5: Simply Click on Start, that’s it, Now your Pendrive Became Bootable Pendrive, which contains Linux ISO file.

Part-3: Installing the RHEL Linux:

Step-1: Now, connect the Bootable Pendrive and  Reboot the system,

Step-2: You will see the below Interface, now select ‘Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0’ using arrow keys and press Enter.

Step-3: Now, Linux Installation process starts.

Step-4: Select the Language you like for the content to be displayed  during Linux Installation for understanding Purpose.

Step-5:  Here, in Below Interface you will see all the settings for Linux, where you can modify Linux OS as per your requirement by selecting such as software selection, disk partitions.

Step-6: Now, click on Date & Time and change it as per your region and click on Done.

Step-7: click on Software Selection and select server with GUI, if your installing in your laptop, it gives graphical user Interface along with Terminal to interact with the laptop and click on Done.

Step-8: Now, click on Installation Destination  and select the Disk it is showing.

Step-9: you can Configure the disk Partitioning Manually or OS itself will automatically configure disk Partitioning by selecting the below options in Partitioning.

Step-10: For Manual Partitioning you need to add mount point by specifying Mount Point name and memory capacity and click on Done.

Step-11: you can also Connect System to Network at starting itself for any internet related application updates and then click on Done.

Step-12: After configuring all settings then Click on Begin Installation.

Step-13: While Installation is going on you can create a password for root account and you can also create a normal user.

Step-14: After Successful  Installation Click on Reboot.

Step-15: Now, Accept the License Agreement and then click on Done.

Step-16: Now, Click on Finish Configuration

Step-17: then Click on Forward

Step-18: If you have Red Hat Subscription then you can register, if you don’t have then select ‘No, I prefer to register at a later time’.

Step-19: if you see the login Screen then RHEL is Successfully Installed in the System. now login using the credentials of that user after then restart the system and remove the Pendrive.
